Joshua Samrai
Claims and Financial Director
Josh Samrai is the Managing Director of ABA Insurance, driving the company forward with innovative strategies and a keen eye for exceptional customer service. Since joining the then “mom-and-pop” sole trader business in 2018, Josh has transformed ABA Insurance from Del & Pam’s dining room table operation into a leading Construction & Property insurance brokerage in the UK.
When Josh isn’t revolutionizing the insurance world, you’ll find him breaking a sweat at the gym, enjoying holidays with his wife, spending quality time with family, and doting on his little dog, Rio.
Pam Samrai
Claims and Financial Director
Pam Samrai is the dynamic Claims and Financial Director at ABA Insurance, bringing over 30 years of broking experience to the table. Known for her top-notch professionalism in claims handling, Pam has been pivotal in building strong customer relationships. After working for several large insurance firms, she rejoined ABA Insurance in 2010 to help propel the business forward.
When she’s not at work, Pam loves whipping up the best traditional Punjabi meals for her family, enjoying long countryside walks, and hitting the salon to keep her glam game strong.
Del Samrai
Claims and Financial Director
Del Samrai is the Founder of ABA Insurance, having started the business in 1989. He established the solid foundations and core principles focused on providing exceptional customer service that have made ABA Insurance a trusted name. Del’s principles have been instrumental in shaping the company’s ethos and success.
In his spare time, Del is a die-hard Aston Villa fan and loves soaking up the sun in hot weather.
Zoe Waghorne
Property & SME – Commercial Account Executive
Hey there! I’m Zoe, your friendly property insurance broker with ABA since 2019, rocking the SME team and making sure your properties are covered from A to Z.
By day, I’m untangling insurance policies, and by night, I’m a master at juggling swim goggles, walking shoes, and quality time with my daughter. Just call me the ultimate multi-tasker. My guilty pleasure? Curling up on a Sunday with reality TV and binge-watching box sets. Yes, I can quote entire seasons of Eastenders while drafting your policy. And, yes, that’s a superpower.
Unpopular opinion alert: I prefer winter! There, I said it. Snow over sun any day—nothing beats a cozy fireplace and a warm drink.

Edward “Ned” Conroy

Meet Edward Conroy, AKA Ned, the energetic young construction insurance broker who joined ABA Insurance in January 2024. Proud of his Irish heritage, known for his vibrant personality, Ned loves rugby almost as much as going out with the lads after work.
At his desk, Edward is accompanied by his lucky charm, Shergar the horse figurine, which he believes brings him the strength and intuition needed to assist customers with their insurance needs. His dedication and enthusiasm make him a valuable addition to the ABA Insurance team.
